We are excited to start offering exciting new events for people to enjoy for 2022. Spending time with family and friends is precious but we know that sometimes you need a place to gather. What better place to gather than at the Fleur De Lis Tea House while enjoying a cup of Louisiana grown tea.
Let's take a look at some of the special events coming up.
BestTEAS & Cheese Class
- Saturday, November 19th 4pm - 6pm
This class is sure to be a wonderful time for those who enjoy great tastes and making fancy platters for gatherings.
Ashley Pecquet from The Rind Cheese Shop and Catering will be leading a class on making food trays. All the ingredients will be provided, just try not to eat them before you finish your tray! A wine tasting and tea tasting will also be available.
You will be sure to leave with a greater knowledge of cheese, tea and wine! Plus, you will take home the cheese tray you make. Sign up here.
Tea Tours & Tasting
- Sunday, October 2nd 2pm - 3pm
- Saturday, October 22nd 10am - 11am
Tea Production Manager Hans Marchese will give you a tour of the Fleur De Lis Tea fields while sharing a wealth of information on how to grow and harvest tea.
After, he will take you inside the Fleur De List Tea House where you will get a taste of Louisiana's very first commercially grown tea, Big Easy, Black tea.

Santa will be making a very magical visit to the Fleur De Lis Tea House. On December 10 & 17 guests will enjoy tea with goodies. On December 23rd guests will enjoy a pancake breakfast with Santa!

Enjoyed the Art of Brewing Tea class on November 12th. Hans did a superb job imparting the information in a conversational way that made it seem less like a lecture and more like a visit with a good friend. I have a renewed interest in brewing tea at home and look forward to additional opportunities to learn more about tea. Thank you Hans and Lira for an enjoyable and informative afternoon. Lee Ingles
